Since the end of the contract with Vai de Bet, which occupied the space between January and May, Corinthians has received several approaches for a new partnership on the uniform. One of them, in early June, came very close to being finalized but was ultimately vetoed by the club's compliance department.
During the negotiations, the discussions that advanced the most were with Betano and Casa de Apostas, in addition to Parimatch. Corinthians was aiming for R$10 million (US$1.8m) per month for a three-year contract, but these amounts were considered too high;
People close to President Augusto Melo suggested that the club look for alternatives beyond betting companies. However, the amounts offered by companies in this segment are significantly higher than other possibilities in the market.
It seems that now Corinthians is close to finalizing the agreement with Parimatch to become the club's main sponsor. The contract has already been approved by President Augusto Melo and is under review by one of the club's oversight committees.
The negotiation amounts to around R$310 million (US$55.4m), divided as follows:
- R$85 million (US$15.2m) by July 2025
- R$105 million (US$18.8m) by July 2026
- R$120 million (US$21.4m) by July 2027
In a meeting with Corinthians' organized fan groups, Augusto Melo presented the proposal to those present.
