BetBoom obtains gaming and sports betting license in Peru

International iGaming operator BetBoom has just received its license to operate in the regulated market of Peru. In 2022, the company entered Latin America and has stood out in offering eSports betting and a wide variety of sports and gaming products. To captivate Brazil, BetBoom recently launched the “Brazilian Style” video, with a Counter-Strike theme.

BetBoom, a high-tech betting holding company, began operations in 2011. The company offers one of the best sports betting and online gaming products on the international market. It also specializes in offering eSports betting.

It is a global sponsor of eSports organizations such as BetBoom Team and Team Spirit, as well as a broadcast sponsor of Tier 1 tournaments for Dota 2 and CS2. “Developing actions in these disciplines is a priority for the company, as it strengthens our international brand, attracts new users and partners, and increases recognition in the eSports community,” highlights BetBoom.

To reinforce its presence in the Latin American market, BetBoom submitted its application for a license to operate in the now regulated Peruvian market and has just had its authorization issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur).

One of Peru's main game streamers, Mr.Choco, is already an ambassador for BetBoom. Known for his Twitch streams, he has an audience of 180,000 followers, playing various video games and hosting entertaining streams. Mr.Choco is a prominent figure in the Dota 2 community and a regular commentator for Tier 1 tournaments such as The International and Riyadh Masters.

In 2022, BetBoom began operations in Latin America, positioning itself as an eSports bookmaker with a wide range of sports and gaming products. With the Peruvian license, the company reinforces its presence in the region.

Obtaining licenses in Latin American countries plays a fundamental role in the company's international development strategy. Previously, BetBoom had already received a license to operate in Mexico.

BetBoom is a sponsor of the Elite League tournament by the Peruvian company ESB, which will be held in August 2024 in Peru. Last year, the holding supported the Lima Major 2023, which featured high-quality teams such as Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid and Talon Esports.
