“We will introduce the Caesars Sportsbook brand into the country through the State of Rio de Janeiro. We prioritized Rio de Janeiro, which, with a population of over 16 million inhabitants, has greater potential than several European countries with the same population as the state, such as Belgium, the Czech Republic, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, among others,” added the executive.
On the occasion, Marcio Simon Mansour, legal and compliance director, and Maja Dimitrovska, product director at NeoGames, were received at Loterj by the PoC Committee, which analyzed and evaluated the platform's features.
The company will now await the result of the evaluation to continue the accreditation process with Loterj, as determined by Accreditation Notice No. 01/2023.
Four companies are awaiting approval of the Proof of Concept (PoC) to have their licenses issued by the agency. They are: Key Solution Gaming of Bet, PNR, Purple & Green and SDL Loterias.
Apostou.com, MarjoSports, PixBet, BestBet and Rio Jogos are already operating under the Loterj banner.
