These actions are only valid for sports betting sites licensed by Lottopar.
For Lottopar's Operations Director, Fabio Veiga, this is another initiative from the municipality aimed at providing healthy and safe entertainment for gamblers from Paraná. “Self-exclusion is part of this responsible gaming policy and now it has become much simpler and more agile for bettors to signal that they wish to stop playing, whether for a time limit or indefinitely, without the need to log into each of the operators' websites."
“By analogy, it’s as if a person with alcoholism problems had to enter the bar and announce that they wanted to stop drinking. With this functionality, the bettor no longer needs to enter the sports betting website to communicate that he wants to stop playing, he makes this communication via the Lottopar platform,” he concludes.
