Santos reaches agreement with Viva Sorte for Vila Belmiro sponsorship and naming rights

The legendary stadium of Brazilian club Santos will soon have a new name. This is because the ‘Peixe’ board, led by CEO Paulo Bracks, has reached a naming rights and sponsorship agreement with Viva Sorte, a capitalization bond company. In addition to renaming the stadium, the company will have its brand displayed on the team's uniform.

According to Trivela, the announcement of the partnership will be made in the coming days. Possibly on the eve of the match against Avaí, on Saturday (17), at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Vila Belmiro, for the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship Series B, which 'Peixe' is leading alone.

The amounts of the agreement that in addition to naming rights also includes the company's brand being displayed on the players' shorts, are still being kept secret by the parties involved in the deal.

Naming rights will be for the current Vila Belmiro

Santos is still in negotiations to build a new stadium in place of the current one, and has reached an agreement with Viva Sorte for the naming rights to the current Vila Belmiro.

If negotiations between the club and WTorre ever progress to the point where a new stadium is built, another negotiation will be necessary with different companies for the naming rights.

New name for is being considered

Representatives from the marketing departments of Santos and Viva Sorte are still studying how they will adapt the company's name to that of Vila Belmiro, which is known worldwide for having seen the names of players such as Pelé, Pepe and Neymar.
