The EGR Italy Awards 2024 ceremony will take place at the renowned Rome Cavalieri next October 16th in Rome, Italy.

This award recognises the operator that has developed the most effective in-house product or platform which helped it stand out from its competitors and offered the biggest commercial boost to its business during the past 12 months. Betsson proudly received this award in 2020.
Casino Operator – StarCasinò
Betsson has already claimed twice (2019 and 2020) the Casino Operator of the Year award. This award recognises the casino operator that has set the standards for others to follow over the past 12 months. The winning company is one that has brought innovation to the Italian casino sector as well as one that has provided a high-quality player experience.
Customer Services Operator
This award celebrates the operator that truly has the customer at the heart of its business and manages its resources to improve its performance standards continuously. Betsson Group is very excited to be once more nominated for this category as it’s an award the company has achieved in previous years of the EGR Awards.
Diversity & Inclusion Model
This award will honour the organisation that puts workforce engagement at the heart of its business strategy. Among other vital criteria, the judges will examine the positive impacts on representation and retention, commitment, engagement, and education.
Employer of the Year
Last year, Betsson Group was honoured with the ‘Employer of the Year’ award, recognising the company’s commitment to its employees’ growth and well-being. This award will recognise the operator or affiliate that can demonstrate its commitment to organisational performance improvement through investment in the recruitment, personal and skills development and motivation of every individual employee.
Marketing Campaign
This award recognises the company that has run innovative, intelligent, and creative marketing campaigns over the past year. Betsson Group’s Italian brands have already won the Marketing Campaign of the Year award on three occasions. This year, the group eagerly anticipates the judges’ decision, hoping to secure the accolade for a fourth time.
Mobile Operator – StarCasinò
A reward to the operator that has made the biggest impact within the mobile and tablet space during the previous 12 months. Judges will be looking for evidence of revenue growth, acquisition through the mobile channel, innovation, and product strength.
Operator of the Year
It recognises the operator that has set the standards for others to follow over the past year. Judges will be looking for a winner that has differentiated itself from the chasing pack in its sector.
Safer Gambling Operator
This accolade will go to the operator who has done the most to implement procedures designed to protect their customers, with special emphasis on innovative and proactive initiatives. The winner will be rewarded for age verification technology, problem gambling support, responsible gambling safeguards, and comprehensive KYC procedures.
Sports Betting Operator
This award recognises the sports betting operator that has set the standards for others to follow over the past 12 months. Judges will look for a company that has brought innovation to the Italian sports betting sector, provided a high-quality player experience, and shown evidence of real growth.
