In 2025, the tourist city of Foz do Iguaçu, in Paraná, will host the most important meeting in Latin America on responsible gaming, safe gaming and lottery sustainability, which is expected to be attended by companies, executives, government agencies, regulators and inspectors from the lottery sector from all over the world.
In competition with other lotteries, Lottopar was chosen to host this important event organized by the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Bets (Cibelae), the largest lottery association in Latin America.
From now on, the working group composed of Lottopar and Cibelae employees will meet periodically to work together on technical details, such as the date of the event and the selection of speakers.
Seminar
Cibelae seminars have been held since 1988 and have taken place in cities such as Madrid, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Panama City, Montevideo, San José de Costa Rica and Santo Domingo, among many others.
“At Cibelae, we are deeply committed to promoting and developing responsible, innovative, safe and sustainable policies in the state’s lottery and betting sector. Organizing this seminar in Foz do Iguaçu represents another step in our joint effort – Cibelae as an organization and each of our members – to strengthen cooperation and the dynamic exchange of ideas and experiences,” said Rodrigo Cigliutti, CEO of Cibelae.
“We have high expectations for the seminar and are pleased to have a first-class partner like Lottopar as the host. Furthermore, the strategic location of this meeting, close to the triple border between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, gives us a unique opportunity to highlight the importance of regional integration in promoting values ??and good practices in social responsibility and responsible gaming, fundamental pillars for the sustainable development of our sector,” concluded Cigliutti.
