AMIG Workshop to discuss ordinance that establishes iGaming authorization criteria in Brazil

AMIG (Association of Women in the Gaming Industry) announced its next online workshop, which will delve into the new Ordinance SPA/MF No. 827, establishing criteria for the authorization of sports betting and online gaming in Brazil. The event, scheduled for this Monday (19) at 2pm, is free and exclusive to members of the entity.

The AMIG workshop aims to clarify recent regulatory changes and their impact on the online gaming and betting industry. The event will be moderated by Débora Motta, head of compliance at PayMee, and will feature three specialized panels.

Panel 1: Requirements and Challenges for Authorizing Fixed-Odds Betting in Brazil

About the speakers

Tiago Gomes (Souto Correa Advogados)

Lawyer specializing in Business Law, with a master's degree in Commercial Law from USP and expertise in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Competition Law and Infrastructure. Recognized for his work in Sports Regulation, Gaming & Betting, he has extensive experience in providing legal advice to national and international clients.

Adriana Tavares (Tozzini Freire Advogados)

Lawyer with over 10 years of experience in Administrative Law, Infrastructure, Compliance and Investigations, Litigation and Business Law. Adriana is a specialist in bidding, public contracts, PPPs and concessions, and works in sectors such as airports, highways, lotteries and iGaming. She also has expertise in interactions with regulatory agencies and Audit Courts.

Andréa Silva Ueda (Kaizen Gaming)

Bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees from USP, with specialization (FGVSP) and MBA in Administration (IBMEC) and certifications in financial compliance (FGV), Chief Compliance Officer (IBDEE) and Data Protection (LEC). Andréa is a lawyer with over 17 years of experience in companies in regulated and publicly traded markets, structuring and managing the legal, regulatory and compliance areas.

Débora Motta (PayMee)

Débora is head of compliance at PayMee IP, holds a doctorate in law from USP, is a specialist in corporate criminal law from FGV and is a professor at IDP.
