One Internet Group (OIG) requested clarification on several published articles questioning the identity of Fernandinho OIG, the person supposedly responsible for ‘Tigrinho’ in Brazil.
Fernando Oliveira Lima, known on social media as ‘Fernandin OIG’, has become the focus of attention of senators from the Science, Technology, Innovation and Information Technology Committee, who are investigating the connection with the “Fortune Tiger” game in Brazil.
Below, the full statement:
“One Internet Group (OIG) hereby clarifies that it is a holding company that generates revenue in the digital environment from the sale of advertisements, developing games on social networks, in addition to search tools, using partnerships built over a decade ago with Google, Meta and X (formerly Twitter), in 25 languages ??for over 100 countries.
The company invests in and helps accelerate technology startups around the world and, especially, in the Northeast region, handling all its operations responsibly and professionally.
Following the Federal Law that authorized the regulation of the online gaming market in Brazil, OIG, through OIG Gaming Brazil LTDA, is interested in investing in the BETS/IGaming market and, to this end, has made a request for regularization with the Federal Government through process number 0015/2024 and, when the bureaucratic process is approved, it will begin its operations using the best practices present in large Betting companies that operate regularly around the world, especially in Europe.
In its future Bet operation, OIG will not only comply with all legal requirements, but will also promote responsible gaming, money laundering prevention, 24-hour customer service, and combat irregular advertising and sports manipulation. To this end, it has already partnered with national and international entities that have globally recognized excellence in each of these areas, in the pursuit of best practices in respect for the player.
Without further comment, we reiterate our commitment to the legality of our actions and vehemently refute any false information (fake news) that links us to an official ‘representation’ in Brazil of ‘Fortune Tiger’, a product of the company PG Soft.
