Betnacional requests license to operate sports betting and online gaming in Brazil

Betnacional, a company of the NSX Group, has filed a license application with the Betting Management System (Sigap), a public platform that allows the monitoring and supervision of ‘bets’, as operators are called in Brazil. The goal is to be regulated to operate in the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil, following the rules established by the Ministry of Finance, by the end of the year. The application includes sister companies Mr. Jack Bet and Pagbet.

A company that always operates in accordance with local legislation and has the opportunity to register for a CNPJ to operate in Brazil, has as its next steps in the regulatory process either the payment of a fixed prize of R$30 million (US$5.3m) that will give the right to work with three brands: Betnacional, Mr. Jack Bet and Pagbet.

Founded five years ago in Brazil and led entirely by Brazilians, the NSX Group uses knowledge of the local culture as a major differentiator to compete with the largest global companies operating in the country. The group considers regulation essential for the supervision of fixed-odds betting activities.
