EstrelaBet becomes new sponsor of Vasco Futsal

EstrelaBet, one of the main companies in the sports betting industry in Brazil, has sealed a new partnership to sponsor the indoor football team Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama. With a contract valid until December 2024, the company will have its brand printed on the front of the shirt close to the shoulders.

As part of the agreement, the betting house will also have exposure on the team's social media and will carry out activations during the games of the Vasco club, which has won notable titles in the sport, such as the National League (1), South American (1), Brazil Cup (2) and Carioca (8).

“We are excited about signing this new contract with Vasco Futsal. It is a club with a huge tradition, with a passionate fan base that supports the team in any sport. This move is also important to further encourage futsal in the country. I am sure that this will be a partnership that will yield many memorable moments,” highlights Leandro Figueiredo, head of sponsorships at EstrelaBet.

“Having EstrelaBet as a partner in Vasco's return to the national futsal scene is extremely important, because it is the sport that produces the greatest soccer stars. The sport is growing and developing a lot. The first edition of the Brazilian Futsal Championship has been a success, with games broadcast on free-to-air and cable TV, and Vasco, as always, leading the audience. A big brand, allied with a big club, has everything to be a successful partnership," adds Eduardo Cassiano, VP of sports at CRVG.

In Brazil, EstrelaBet sponsors football clubs such as Internacional, Criciúma, América-MG, Ponte Preta, Botafogo-SP and CRB. It also has contracts with the Brazilian futsal and beach soccer teams, as well as the Vasco da Gama basketball team and Minas Tênis Clube, in judo.

EstrelaBet is currently among the companies in the sector that have requested the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF) to apply for a license to operate in Brazil, something that will be mandatory with the start of the regulated market in 2025.
