Reals brings Edu Primitivo to its team of Brazilian ambassadors

Reals, a Brazilian sports betting platform that already has Rodrigo Faro and Gabriela Nery as ambassadors, will now bring a new influencer who has 30 million followers on his networks: Eduardo Barreto, locally known as Edu Primitivo. The ‘Bet’, as operators are called in Brazil, introduced him as a reinforcement for its team of stars.

Known as Edu Primitivo, Barreto is now part of the team of ambassadors of one of the most popular sports betting platforms in Brazil, elected by the SiGMA Awards in 2024.

The influencer is known for approaching people on the street or in public places simulating very funny situations. His success was so great that he has accumulated around 30 million followers on his social networks.

The Reals team is getting stronger and stronger. Eduardo is another important addition to Rodrigo Faro and Gabriela Nery,” says Rafael Borges, Reals Country Manager.

This interaction with the public and experiences beyond betting is what we seek with our users. We will increasingly strengthen this bond,” he says.

The influencer’s first video wearing the Reals cap was of him approaching a candy vendor. He asks to buy the candy with a R$100 bill (almost US$20), but the vendor has no change. Eduardo then gives the money to the vendor, who reveals that he wants to buy a refrigerator and a stroller for his nine-month-old son. The new member of Reals takes R$100 (almost US$ 20) bills out of his pocket until he reaches the amount of R$5,000 (US$ 913), making the beneficiary emotional.

Reals is traveling through Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. Who knows, maybe you’ll be next? Tell us in the comments which city we should appear in,” says Eduardo, in a video with more than 8 thousand comments and 3 million views on Instagram.

Reals also supports Brazilian football, with master sponsorship of Coritiba and Amazonas. All matches include activations, distribution of gifts and tickets for the teams’ fans.
