During the meeting with the general delegate Artur José Dian, the president of ANJL, Plínio Lemos Jorge, highlighted the actions that the association has already taken to reinforce its commitment to the integrity of the betting market, which includes zero tolerance for any harmful practices, including match-fixing.
“ANJL is promoting a round of talks, from which terms of cooperation are derived, with the main Justice and Public Security agencies. We have already met with the Public Prosecutors' Offices of Goiás and São Paulo, and now with the General Delegation of São Paulo,” stated Plínio Lemos.
“Our goal is to open direct channels of communication and collaboration with these actors in everything related to sports betting and online gaming. We have increasingly reinforced the message that the market can only be structured and advance in an environment that is honest and safe for everyone,” he added.
Launched in March 2023, the National Association of Games and Lotteries defends the interests of its members, the sector and responsible and honest gaming, always guided by the promotion of sports, the security of bets and the contribution to the economic development of the country.
