The club will make the partnership official at a press conference this Friday (9) in São Paulo. Viva Sorte has already been featured on the club's uniform in a one-off deal for the match against Flamengo last Saturday (3) for the Brazilian Championship, and on Thursday (8) against Goiás for the round of 16 of the Brazilian Cup.
With the new contract, São Paulo has a total of R$84 million (US$15m) in uniform sponsorship this year, surpassing Palmeiras. Currently, the green and white club receives R$81 million (US$14.4m) from Crefisa/FAM to display its brand on the shirt. SPFC will also be able to negotiate the space on the sleeve of the shirt.
Other sponsorships
Currently, São Paulo has other sponsors, including: Superbet, which invests R$52 million (US$9.25m) per year to have its brand on the main part and on the back of the shirt.
Ademicon contributes R$6 million (US$1.1m) for the left side of the chest, while ABC da Construção invests R$4.3 million (US$782k) for the space on the back of the shorts. BLUE pays R$12 million (US$2.15m) to appear on the back hem of the jersey.
Konami, a global gaming company that owns the popular eFootball, pays R$2 million (US$355k) to print the jersey numbers.
