SBC Summit to discuss the impact of payment platforms on Brazil's gambling industry

The new regulated Brazilian market is sparking interest in the sector around the world. To help the industry learn more about the topic, SBC Summit 2024 presents the panel “Payment familiarity in Brazil: The path to successful regulation,” an excelent opportunity to discuss the impact of this kind of platforms on Brazil's gambling industry. The event takes place on September 25th featuring executives from Pay4Fun and PayBrokers, among other speakers.

SBC Summit, happening from September 24-26 at Feira Internacional de Lisboa, will take a global approach, offering comprehensive insights into the regulatory challenges, market opportunities, and emerging trends shaping the gaming industry.

‘Word on the street’ is that the Brazilian gambling market is set to be dominated by two of the country’s most popular payment platforms.

Pix, the payment method is not an unfamiliar platform to those with even the most basic knowledge of the Brazilian economy. For iGaming operators, the system will be of paramount importance as the betting sector grows.

Operated by the Central Bank of Brazil, Pix is the country’s nationwide payments system, and as such, will be one of the two most likely platforms operators have at their disposal once full regulation is achieved.
