GMB – What new developments did Sprint Gaming present during ICE Barcelona?
Juan Carlos Garcia – Sprint Gaming and BetConnections are undergoing a significant growth process in Latin America. We have new operations in Paraguay and are opening a future live casino operation in Brazil. We believe that, in the first half of the year, we will already be in process and production, developing business in Mexico and Ecuador. In other words, in Latin America, we remain very strong, with possibilities of also entering the Bahamas market.
Tell us about Sprint Gaming's plans for the Brazilian market, now that it has opened up.
First, we have a very important ally in Brazil. With them, we will develop the entire commercial process. We are setting up our studios in São Paulo, and we will speak Portuguese directly from São Paulo to Brazilian operators. This is one of the important points.
We have created a company in Brazil, we will certify our platform and our operations, and we are focused on developing the project in Brazil in the very short term.
Are you already working on certification for Brazil?
We are in the process of certification and setting up the local company. We are already on this path with a significant number of important consultants who are helping us consolidate the certification, including several laboratories that work with us.
Which laboratories are you working with?
At the moment, we are working with BMM and GLI. We are in contact with both. In some markets we work with one and in others with the other.
What are Sprint Gaming's main markets today?
Today, Sprint Gaming's main market is Argentina. We are focused on Mexico, and we have operations with operators in Peru, Ecuador and Chile. We will be at upcoming trade shows in Latin America, such as SBC Rio and BiS SiGMA, in São Paulo. In our next trade show, SBC Rio, will have a stand. We look forward to seeing you all there with great affection and we will certainly be at BiS SiGMA as well.
So, is Brazil your priority?
Brazil is a priority for us. Everyone is very clear that Brazil is the most important market in Latin America and, I can say, in the world. That is why we are very focused, concentrated and extremely enthusiastic about developing the Brazilian market.
