“Altenar has just opened a unit in Brazil to offer local support to partner operators”

Altenar, a global provider of iGaming solutions, was at ICE Barcelona, where it presented new features of its platform, such as PopUp Manager, Reward System and Player Cards. In an exclusive interview with GMB, Diego Salas, the company’s LatAm director, celebrated the opening of a unit in Brazil and the certification in the country. “This allows us to be 100% available to serve the market in a very close manner to our partners.”


GMB - What's new with Altenar at ICE Barcelona?

- One of the pieces of news that makes me happy to announce at this event is that we have opened our first branch and company in Brazil. With this, in compliance with the regulations, we can hire directly through our Brazilian entity, charge in reais, and this represents a huge step towards the growth we are seeing in Brazil.

In addition, we have obtained certification and a license as providers in Brazil, which allows us to be 100% available to meet the market and demand.

It is very important to be close to our customers and operators. How is this relationship with them?
The relationship is excellent. We currently have a team that we are building in Brazil. We have hired a new salesperson, Frederico, who is Brazilian. This has created a much closer relationship with our customers and the market in general. With our new unit in Brazil, we will continue to expand the team and look for ways to be even closer to the operators, which is essential.

 



And what's new at Altenar at the fair?
This year, we have some great news. I can highlight some of our roadmap for the year. The first is the launch of PopUp Manager, which will allow operators to send personalized popups to players whenever they log in, recommending events and bets from their favorite leagues and teams. This is very interesting because it helps attract and maintain player engagement.

The second new feature is related to content personalization, with the launch of the 'Reward System', a tool that helps operators create campaigns, championships, events and rewards, further engaging players and encouraging their loyalty.

And the third is the creation of 'Player Cards', where influencers will be able to share pre-determined bets. Based on stories or posts, if the audience likes them, they can place bets directly with these suggestions.

Is this another way to bring the player and the operator even closer?
Much more. Our goal is to get closer and closer to the operators and give them more tools so that players can be closer to them and have the best possible experience.
 


How is your work with influencers going to increase the presence of operators using the Altenar platform in the Brazilian market?
Today, influencers play an indirect but important role for our operators. We explain to them how to use the platform's tools and train them. Each client has a dedicated account manager who assists them daily, offering training and support to implement their strategies. Despite having these tools, each operator has a unique and personalized approach.

 



Are there more plans for Brazil?
Yes, many! We are just starting with our unit and team in Brazil. We have big surprises ahead. We will be present at important events such as SBC Rio and BiS SiGMA São Paulo, where we will present new developments for Brazil and our increasing focus on this market, where we will continue to invest.
