“Radar already provides geolocation for five operators in Brazil, including KTO and Aposta Ganha”

Nick Patrick, CEO of Radar, spoke exclusively to GMB during ICE Barcelona 2025 about the company’s rapid expansion into the gaming sector. With geolocation already renewed for five operators in Brazil, including KTO and Aposta Ganha, and more partnerships on the way, Radar sees the country as a key market. In addition, they already serve more than 50 corporate clients in the gaming sector and are looking to strengthen their global presence in 2024. “Brazil is very important to us.”

GMB - Are you enjoying the show here in Barcelona?
Nick Patrick -
Definitely! We're having a lot of fun. This is actually our first year at ICE. My first year as well. It's a great show — feels even bigger than G2E in Las Vegas.

We're meeting a lot of customers, prospective customers, and partners. It's great to have a booth, host some events, and connect with everyone.

What products or news are you bringing to this year's edition?
Radar is growing very quickly in the gaming space—gaming is now our fastest-growing vertical. We have over 50 enterprise gaming customers. This year, our focus is on telling our story, raising our profile, and meeting both current and potential new customers.

Over the last three days, we've had about 20 or 30 meetings, split between existing customers and new prospects. We're also focusing on building our brand and increasing visibility through events like this.

What technological trends do you think will stand out this year?
Geolocation is still relatively underutilized in the gaming space, and we see a lot of opportunities there. Many operators are currently only using geolocation for compliance—doing the bare minimum.

However, we're exploring ways to go beyond compliance, like geofencing stadiums, casinos, or other locations. We're also heavily investing in reporting and back-office capabilities, helping risk and fraud teams or compliance departments not just perform geolocation checks but also analyze and report on the data.

We're supporting over 50 enterprise gaming customers, with several major operators in the U.S. and Brazil already live. We've received great feedback and are committed to continuously improving our product.

What are Radar's plans for Brazil and Latin America this year?
Brazil is a very exciting market for us. We're currently powering geolocation for about five operators, including KTO and Aposta Ganha, with more going live soon.

Many operators are considering adding a second geolocation provider or switching to Radar now that they are live in the market.

In Latin America more broadly, we're also interested in Peru and Puerto Rico, where we support some operators. While the U.S. remains a significant focus since we're based in New York, Brazil and Latin America are key growth areas for us globally.

Is Radar planning to be in São Paulo or Rio next month for networking and business?
Yes, we'll be at SBC Rio. We'll have a booth, and I’ll be there with my Co-founder and a member of our sales team. We're looking forward to meeting current and potential customers. However, we won't make it to São Paulo this time—maybe next year. It'll be my first time in Brazil, and I'm very excited about it.
