In match against Corinthians

Superbet guarantees the “world’s largest flag” for its sponsor São Paulo

Superbet, São Paulo’s master sponsor, carried out a marketing campaign with the club’s fans last Sunday (26), before the match against Corinthians, valid for the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista. The company produced what it called the “world’s largest flag”, which was extended by the club’s fans in the upper stands of the Morumbis stadium.

A total of 13,500 meters of fabric were used to make the flag, which required a huge logistical effort: at least 400 people participated in the process of opening the piece. Despite the previous announcement about its impressive size, the design was kept secret until the derby against Corinthians, increasing the expectation and the visual impact in the stadium.

The piece, measuring 22,000 square meters, presented the message “95 years of victories” and also highlighted the most important years in São Paulo’s history. The big flag occupied the entire upper ring of the Morumbis grandstand.

Superbet's marketing team has been actively working to ensure that CEO Alexandre Fonseca recently told GMB: “We want to be in the TOP 3 of the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil.”

So much so that earlier this year, Superbet acquired the naming rights to seven state championships: Carioca, Gaúcho, Baiano, Cearense, Sergipano and Capixaba, in addition to the Copa do Nordeste. With this, the company increases its presence in local tournaments that open the Brazilian football season.

In addition, Superbet signed a contract with the star and former captain of the Brazilian National Team Cafu as brand ambassador, joining fellow idol Thiago Silva and Ferrugem.

Superbet Group is a technology and entertainment company founded in 2008 in Romania, whose mission is to provide millions of consumers around the world with sports and gaming entertainment through technology.

The group is present in 12 countries, either as an operation or as a technology hub, the most important of which are Romania, Belgium, Poland, Serbia and Brazil. In 2019, the US fund Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, made a strategic minority investment of 175 million euros in the company, expanding the brand's presence globally.
