For Vinicius Barrel, CEO of SeuBet, the initiative goes beyond a simple marketing strategy. “Supporting Democrata is a way of strengthening our connection with the Governador Valadares community. The club represents a passion for football and local culture, values ??that are aligned with our mission of promoting sports as a tool for social transformation,” he says.
Democrata was not chosen by chance. With over a century of history, the club is a symbol of Minas Gerais football and a reference for the city, which breathes sport. Governador Valadares, which is also known as the world capital of hang gliding and has a tradition in sports such as canoeing, sees football as one of its greatest passions.
“The sponsorship brings essential resources to the club, contributing to the development of athletes and helping to inspire new generations of fans,” highlights Barrel.
Strong support for local sports
The company has a history of investing in sports initiatives in the city, such as SeuBet Skating Day, in addition to sponsoring Valadares athlete Diego Hilel, Brazilian motorcycle racing champion in the 1000cc Light category in 2024.
“We believe in the transformative power of sport. This partnership with Democrata is another step towards generating a positive impact on the community,” explains Beatriz Assis, SeuBet branding coordinator.
In addition to investing in the city, the company also sponsored Futebol Solidário 2024, which brought together names such as Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Ana Castela, in the city of Londrina, in support of social causes.
For the Minas Gerais team, in addition to visibility during the matches, the partnership includes joint actions between the company and the team, including marketing campaigns and social initiatives. “We are exploring several possibilities to engage fans and strengthen the connection with the club,” says Beatriz.
The sponsorship of Democrata also reflects the company’s strategy of consolidating its presence in Minas Gerais, the state where the brand has roots.
“Governador Valadares is a special city for us. This partnership reinforces our commitment to the region’s sports and cultural development,” concludes Barrel.
