Alexandre Manoel left his position as chief economist at AZ Quest this week to dedicate himself fully to the Aposta Vencedora consortium.
The new leader of the Consórcio Aposta Vencedora, a new lottery project in São Paulo, was Secretary of Evaluation of Public Policies Planning, Energy and Lottery, between 2018, still in the government of Michel Temer, and 2020, in the government of Jair Bolsonaro. He worked on the formulation of the law that standardized national lottery legislation, approved in 2018.
The new São Paulo lottery represents an expansion of the gaming sector in the state, and Manoel's choice to lead this initiative is seen as a strategy to ensure the effective implementation of operations. His previous experience in important positions in government and the private sector can contribute to the success of the project.
With the new lottery, it is expected that the state of São Paulo will be able to increase revenue and offer new entertainment options to citizens, in addition to potentially generating jobs and investments in the region.
