“Already consolidated in Brazil, NGX is now looking for business in other countries”

NGX, a renowned Brazilian iGaming platform provider, attended recent ICE 2025 with a team of seven people. Its Commercial Director, Alexandre Tauszig, spoke with GMB about the beginning of the regulated market in the country and the goal for Barcelona. “Now consolidated in Brazil, we are looking for new clients who want to enter the country and to strengthen relationships with partners with whom we do business in Asia and Africa,” he revealed.


GMB – What led NGX to visit ICE Barcelona?

– NGX had a large delegation of seven people. What brought us there was work that we are doing in parallel with the Brazilian market: expanding into other countries. We have a partnership with Skilrock to work in markets in Asia and Africa. We started an operation in December in Guinea and we already have another in the Dominican Republic. We will soon start in another large country in the Americas, but I cannot reveal which one yet. We were at ICE Barcelona looking for new partnerships, business and clients in other countries.

You had already revealed to GMB NGX's plan for international expansion. Is this already a reality?
Yes, it is already a reality. Brazil, which was our priority, is now fully regulated. It was a crazy end of the year for us, but we were able to meet all the requirements of the national regulation. With that, international expansion became the next step, although we continue working to grow in Brazil.

Were there any difficulties in this transition process to the regulated market?
For us, in particular, it was a rush. Brazilian regulation set the bar very high, with many requirements. The laboratories, which are few to serve so many clients in Brazil, were overloaded. We worked non-stop, without Christmas or weekends, but on December 31st, we were able to breathe. On January 1st, we were ready, with our clients able to operate in the regulated market.

 



What are the plans in terms of technological development and new tools for the NGX platform?
Our mission is to give clients the freedom to choose their partners. We have several payment methods, game providers, CRM, KYC and other aggregates. Our model is transparent: we want the client to contract directly with these providers. NGX's focus is to offer the best gaming and sports betting platform.

We are improving several features, such as gamification, bonuses and affiliation, all with our own development. Our main goal is to be the largest platform in Brazil.

What are you planning in terms of strategic planning and brand exposure for the next six months?
This year, we will have a cool booth at SBC Rio and a grand booth at BiS SiGMA Americas in São Paulo. We invite everyone to visit us. It will be a great opportunity to present our brand and win new customers.

Are foreign operators looking to enter Brazil looking for NGX as a local solution?
Yes, we receive leads weekly from companies abroad. Our team is 100% Brazilian, we know the legislation and regulations, which has attracted foreign operators who faced difficulties in adapting to the Brazilian market.
