The partnership with Alfa.bet will last for three years and will generate approximately R$50 million (US$8.7m) per year for each club. In addition, there are clauses to increase the salaries of both, such as engagement and sporting goals achieved.
Banrisul, the master sponsor of the Gre-Nal duo for 23 years, will now be positioned on the back of both jerseys. To reach an agreement with the new betting house, Grêmio ended its contract with Esportes da Sorte, a partner in recent years. Inter, on the other hand, had EstrelaBet as a partner.
“We are very happy. Today we begin a new cycle. The partnership highlights Grêmio with one of the largest sponsorship contracts in the country, and with the potential to further improve our earnings, according to the engagement of our fans in this project,” declared the president of Grêmio, Alberto Guerra.
“Alfa joining our growth journey is a clear sign that the planning carried out was noticed by the market. We are placing Internacional at the forefront of the sector, combining data analysis, creativity and high execution power,” said Alessandro Barcellos, president of Inter.
In the Gre-Nal last Saturday (8), still without the "Alfa" logo on the shirts, the new sponsor placed a hashtag on both uniforms, saying "Casa de Responsa". The official debut of the Grêmio jersey will be this Tuesday (11), at 9:30 pm, against Pelotas, at the Arena. On Wednesday (12), it will be Inter's turn, in a duel with São Luiz, in Ijuí, at 10 pm.
