GMB – What did Grupo Vibra show the global gaming market during ICE Barcelona?
Ramiro Atucha – The first point was the start of regulation in Brazil. The date selected was January 1st and I would like to know who chose that date, because December was very complicated for the industry. There was no Christmas, nothing. I would have recommended January 15th, but we survived. We got along well with Betsul and the operators who are working with our platform.
The funny part is that we are also working in the Peruvian market, which started on January 1st. Everyone agreed on the same date. We survived both markets without any problems, thanks to a lot of work and effort. It worked very well.
In addition to opening two new markets, Brazil and Peru, there is the acquisition of TCA by Vibra. What does this mean in terms of offerings to the Brazilian and Latin American markets?
We have been working with TCA for many years. The teams were already well integrated, and now we have formalized the acquisition. It shouldn't change much, but it will improve. We have a team in Argentina and we used to work with TCA as partners. Now we are unifying everything to generate more synergy and efficiency.
What can we expect from this partnership?
Greater synergies and more collaborative work. TCA already had contracts as a supplier in four states: Paraíba, Maranhão, Sergipe and Tocantins. We will continue to work together, with greater presence and synergy between the teams in Buenos Aires and João Pessoa.
Before, there was Vibra Gaming, then Vibra Systems, and now the lottery area. You are well-established in this segment in Brazil. What does this mean for Grupo Vibra?
We have high expectations. We are one of the first suppliers to arrive there. Our game studio and content aggregation allow us to develop specific games, such as lottery content for Brazil.
Our sportsbook and casino platform has already passed the regulatory requirements without any problems. We also have video lottery terminals (VLT), which are operating in markets such as Paraíba and Maranhão, and we will soon be in other states. We continue to adjust our products to the preferences of Brazilian players.
What are Grupo Vibra's plans for Brazil and Latin America in the first half of 2025?
Having passed the regulatory test, we believe that many operators will choose our platform. We are local, all of our products are GLI certified, and we recently received ISO 27001. This brings a lot of peace of mind to operators. Since we are local, our communication is better and we are closer to our customers and have numerous projects in mind.
When will these projects be announced? Are you planning to do this at SBC Rio and BiS SiGMA?
We are already planning projects that will be announced at the SBC Rio de Janeiro and BiS SiGMA São Paulo events. Our intention is to grow with new partners and take advantage of the effort we have made to meet the preferences of the Brazilian market, with the necessary certifications. Now is the time to take advantage of this to grow and work with more partners.
