Betpix365 sponsored Red Bull Bragantino. Vaidebet was the master sponsor of Corinthians until June 2024, when the company unilaterally terminated the sponsorship contract with the club.
The dispute began in October 2024, when the Attorney General's Office (AGU) excluded BPX Bets Sports Group from the list of companies authorized to operate during the adaptation period, citing the preservation of the public interest and administrative morality.
The decision was based on criminal suspicions involving José André da Rocha Neto, the company's majority shareholder.
However, in January 2025, federal judge João Moreira Pessoa de Azambuja partially granted BPX Bets Sports Group's request for preliminary injunction. He determined that the Union should include the brands Vaidebet, Betpix365 and Obabet in the list of authorized operators, as long as the only impediment was the police investigation involving José André da Rocha Neto.
After failure to comply with this decision, BPX Bets Sports Group appealed, alleging non-compliance with the court order. Judge Dourado then gave the Union 48 hours to demonstrate compliance with the decision.
The Union requested a 15-day extension, claiming the need for internal processing of the demand, which was denied by Dourado. He defended the importance of preserving the business activity of BPX Bets Sports Group, avoiding irreparable losses, and ordered the immediate inclusion of the brands in the list of authorized operators, under penalty of a daily fine of R$1,000 (US$175)
