Sportradar is called to urgently investigate a match in the Campeonato Pernambucano

The Pernambuco Football Federation (FPF) called Sportradar to investigate a suspicion of match-fixing in the match between Central Sport Club and Decisão. The company is a partner of the FPF and already analyzes the games of the Campeonato Pernambucano, but since Central went to the Federal Police with photos and prints of high-value bets that indicated the team's defeat, the federation requested an urgent investigation.

The case involves Central Sport Club, which asked the Federal Police to formally investigate after suspicions of external interference in the match against Decisão, to which it lost 2 x 1. The club presented the Police with photos and prints of high-value bets that indicated that it would lose the match.

Central prepared a dossier with the evidence and asked the Federal Police to investigate the case. In view of this, the Pernambuco Football Federation, which was also informed by Central, requested an urgent investigation by Sportradar, with whom it has had a contract for five years.

In response to the accusations, Central Sport Club took proactive measures to protect the integrity of the club and the championship. Central's board of directors compiled a dossier with evidence and handed it over to the Federal Police for a detailed investigation. In addition, they emphasized their commitment to ethics, ensuring that anyone involved in illicit practices will be appropriately punished.

The match in question took place on Monday (10) and was full of moves that, according to the fans themselves, seem suspicious. Such as the first goal of Decisão, scored by Central's player Leandro Amaro. The same athlete also ended up giving away a ball that was essential for Decisão's second goal.

A statement from Central

Central Sport Club expresses great concern about the recent allegations of possible interference by bookmakers in its games, which may have directly impacted the team's performance throughout the Pernambuco Championship. In particular, there are signs of irregularities in the last game, played on Monday, February 10, against Decisão.

The club is the most interested in clarifying the facts, as it understands that such interference may have harmed its results in the competition. In view of this situation, the board gathered all the material related to the accusations with the legal team, and took steps with the Federal Police, requesting a due investigation into the events.

Central Sport Club reaffirms its commitment to ethics and transparency in football and assures that any player or team member who is proven to be involved in such acts will be immediately dismissed. Furthermore, any accusation that suggests the club's participation in such irregularities will be treated with due rigor, and the appropriate measures will be taken in court to preserve the integrity and honor of the institution.
