Negotiations were led by the club's newly hired executive director of marketing and communications, Rafael Zanette. "We had a series of conversations with several companies in the segment over the course of weeks, studied the market and looked at all the possibilities before reaching a decision.”
“When GingaBet presented its project to us, we had no doubt that it would be the best choice for the club, not only because of the financial contribution, but also because of the brands' projected joint growth. We are very happy and honored to begin this new partnership," he emphasized.
The GingaBet brand will be present on four ‘Papão’ uniforms: game, warm-up, training and travel shirts, as well as plaques placed at the Raul Aguilera Training Center and Banpará Curuzu Stadium, interview backdrops and posts on all of the club's social media profiles.
For the club's president, Roger Aguilera, the signing of the contract between the parties increases the club's potential. "I want to welcome GingaBet, a company that has begun to look at football as a business and expansion opportunity. It is one of our biggest sponsorships of all time, so, without a doubt, in addition to filling us with pride, it will also help us to close other large partnerships,” he stated.
Paysandu's official YouTube channel will now be called PapãoTV GingaBet, since the company will also allocate part of the funds invested in the club to actions by the Marketing and Communication Department and Payxão Prime Residencial fan club.
“Contributing to the development of a club with such a tradition, such as Paysandu, is a source of pride for us. GingaBet is extremely happy to have reached this agreement and we are certain that it will be extremely beneficial for everyone involved. We thank the club for their trust and are confident that together, we will pave the way for achievements,” says André Baldavira, head of marketing at GingaBet.
The contract was signed by Wolff Sports, a sports marketing agency that has already moved more than R$800 million (US$140m) in commercial agreements and signed sponsorships with 108 national and international football clubs.
“We are very happy to be doing another deal with Paysandu, this time one of the biggest sponsorships in the club’s history. We would like to thank GingaBet for their trust. We are going all out,” said Fábio Wolff, managing partner of Wolff Sports & Marketing.
GingaBet is part of the Inplaysoft group, with over 20 years of experience in the global technology market. The company offers a variety of esports betting, including football, tennis, basketball and volleyball, as well as exciting live betting that provides entertainment.
