Reals gets definitive authorization to operate in Brazil, anticipates “a year of significant growth”

Master sponsor of Coritiba and one of the main companies in the sports betting and iGaming sector, Reals has received definitive authorization from the Federal Government to operate in Brazil. Working on a provisional basis since January 1 when the new betting regulations came into effect, the brand now has the right to remain in the country until the end of 2029 - the standard deadline for all definitive licenses.

The new ordinance released by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance, SPA/MF No. 372, published on the morning of Tuesday (25), in the Official Gazette of the Union, guarantees the company the certification that it is fully aligned with the requirements demanded for this type of market.

“Reals is already a brand of enormous prestige in the Brazilian scene, being one of the ones that collects the most fans and moves the social networks. Obtaining this definitive authorization was an extremely important move to prove the credibility of our operations,” says Rafael Borges, CEO of Reals.

“This is a step that generates trust and credibility with the public. Now is the time to intensify our actions and focus on offering the best possible experience for bettors. I am sure that this will be a year of great growth for the company,” adds the executive.

Reals has increasingly become a reference in the betting market in Brazil, participating in national and international events.

In administrative terms, the company is also in the final stages of installing its new headquarters in São Paulo (SP) and continues to expand its staff, which should increase by 1,500 people in the coming months.

Reals

Reals operates within the new sector regulations, in compliance with federal legislation implemented in 2025, reinforcing its commitment to best market practices.

The company is committed to a sustainable growth model based on innovation, strategic partnerships and sports engagement.

Its presence in Brazilian football also strengthens its identity, being the master sponsor of Coritiba and counting on actor and presenter Rodrigo Faro as an ambassador.

This solid positioning has driven Reals' rapid growth in Brazil. In 2023, the company was recognized globally by receiving the 'Rising Star of the Year' award, granted by SiGMA World, the greatest international authority on iGaming.

The following year, it consolidated its leadership by being elected the best 'Sports Betting House' in Brazil at the SiGMA awards, reinforcing its upward trajectory in the sector.
