“Belatra will be very close to operators in Brazil in 2025 to boost business in the country”

Andres Troelsen, Sales Director at Belatra, received GMB for an exclusive interview during SBC Rio. He highlighted the proximity to operators, new games and commitment to Responsible Gaming as factors that differentiate the company in the market. With 31 years of experience, the company seeks to meet the needs of its partners' users and expects a 2025 of growth in the country, with visits to Brazil and the promise of a strong presence at BiS SiGMA.

GMB - What's new from Belatra at the SBC Rio trade show?
Andres Troelsen
- We're back in Brazil, this time at SBC Rio, and we're very excited to continue following the growth of the iGaming market in the country. What's new for us is that we're still close to our partners, who are the operators and our customers. We've been working in the market for some time now and we're very happy with this new stage of regulation and with new game launches.

We're going to have a very active year in terms of products and Brazil, always understanding what players and users like and look for in games. We'll have a large stand at BiS SiGMA, in São Paulo, and throughout 2025 we'll be traveling to Brazil constantly with our team to always be close to our customers.

Speaking about game launches, Brazil, as a regulated market, has numerous requirements regarding Responsible Gaming. How does Belatra work with this issue when developing games?
Belatra supports Responsible Gaming and all the regulations of the new legislation. We are very happy with this market regulation process. We expected that the beginning would be a little more complicated, but we are surprised by the operators and gaming suppliers, who are doing a great job together within the new rules.

We support and work under all the regulations without any problems. We believe that it is very important to grow the industry, maintain good practices and comply with all the regulations.

How to win new partners with Belatra games?
The most important thing is to be close to the operators, so that they see our presence and understand that we are here. We speak Portuguese, and even if it is not perfect in my case, we strive to make this clear. Personal relationships are very important. But it is a mix of factors that make Belatra's offer attractive to players. Then comes the product. Belatra is a company with 31 years of experience in the industry, with well-designed games and solid mathematics. We have more than 104 games and we always seek to make them more attractive, understanding the needs of the players.

Our value proposition is what the operator needs, because operators in Brazil, in this regularization process, need more players and more traffic. Belatra has a proven offer that adds value to operators, as do other suppliers.

What does Belatra expect for the year 2025, with the Brazilian market already regulated?
This year, 2025, will be our first year in the regulated market, and we expect a lot of growth. There are new rules, a new system, and we believe that the market will grow and adapt. We are very optimistic, and events like this show that the market is expanding.

The world is talking about Brazil. Brazil is not a promise; it is a reality. We are confident that there will be continued growth month by month, and that 2025 will be a good year that will lay the foundations for the future of the industry.
