Lototins begins lottery operations and holds workshop with security forces in Tocantins

The recently launched Loteria do Tocantins began its physical operations this week in the Brazilian state of Tocantins, and will launch its official website in the coming weeks. The operation will be restricted to the physical and virtual limits of Tocantins and is expected to generate more than 1,500 direct and indirect jobs in the state.

After the official launch on the 18th of last month, the company is now starting to operate commercially and is expected to bring major technological innovations with products not yet seen in the Brazilian lottery market in the coming months, according to the company's founder and CEO Eduardo Paiva.

Another big step has been taken by Lototins and many more will come in this implementation phase. In the first half of this year, we will begin construction on a medium-sized project in the capital, which will include a sportsbook, immersive state-of-the-art VLTs with 50-inch screens produced 100% in Brazil, a passive card room, a restaurant, a bar and a stage for local shows where the population will be entertained and have fun responsibly. It will be an entertainment center never seen before in Brazil.”

The company also gave a presentation on the legal framework and legal support for the operation of all products, Responsible Gaming, and money laundering prevention to the team from the Public Security Department of the State of Tocantins, in the presence of Secretary Bruno Azevedo, the Chief of Police of the State, the Civil Police Internal Affairs Department, among other authorities.

On the same day, the same presentation was also given to the General Command of the Military Police in the presence of the General Commander, Colonel Márcio Barbosa.

The support we are receiving from the Police Forces is extremely important. This alignment is vital not only to strengthen the legal and regulated gambling of the State Lottery, but also to combat illegal gambling that may exist locally,” concluded Paiva.
