“Weebet will bring its platform’s cutting-edge technology to other Latin American countries”

At SBC Rio, Weebet once again presented BetPilot’s AI-based solution, which has allowed the company to increase player engagement. CTO Thiago Faustino reinforced in an exclusive interview with GMB the firm’s focus on investing in cutting-edge technology, an intuitive interface and responsible gaming to increase the satisfaction of its partners. Consolidated in regulated Brazil, Weebet plans to expand to other Latin American countries.


GMB – What new features did Weebet present at SBC Rio de Janeiro?
Thiago Faustino – As recently announced, we introduced BetPilot. The partnership with this company is fantastic. They are providing us with an incredible and exclusive game recommendation tool for players. The solution is based on what they play the most. We are using BetPilot’s artificial intelligence to offer a more personalized and exclusive experience to players who use the Weebet platform.

Is this a characteristic of Weebet, always looking for what the end user needs?
Exactly. As you know, we are expanding in the regulated market, and an operator's success in the regulated market is tied to their success with end customers. So, whatever we can do to retain players on the platform and provide them with a personalized experience, we will do it. The operator will generate better revenue and, consequently, will be happy. This, in turn, reflects the success of Weebet as well.

It has been two months since entering the regulated market. How do you evaluate this initial period for the Weebet platform and for your clients’ operations?
At the beginning, it was a bit challenging. The first months were about adaptation and fine-tuning, but Weebet was prepared, and we managed to meet all expectations and resolve any issues that arose in this new market.

 



How can you reach more customers? How do you differentiate yourself by offering the product that clients need in such a competitive market?
By using technology to our advantage, such as the customization we are implementing with the BetPilot solution, an appealing layout, and an intuitive interface. The idea is to make gaming fun and enjoyable so that players do not feel bored during the process. Ensuring that players spend more time on the platform having fun is our goal, and that is what we are always working towards.

Does Weebet focus on promoting responsible gaming to end users? How do you ensure they stay in control and do not exceed their limits? How can a platform like Weebet offer this to operators?
Weebet has always been an advocate for Responsible Gaming. The platform includes deposit limits, both daily and monthly, as well as daily betting limits. We also have a feature that allows players to set time limits, similar to social media platforms. When a player spends a certain amount of time on the platform, the system alerts them: "You have been on the platform for X amount of time," giving them a reality check and allowing them to manage their time better, even taking a break if needed. We also address responsible gaming in terms of deposits, withdrawals, and how much a player is depositing and betting over a certain period.

What are Weebet’s plans for the next two to three months to continue growing in Brazil’s competitive market?
We are already well established in Brazil. As I mentioned, we have overcome the initial challenges of the regulated market. It was an enriching experience for Weebet to be part of this transition, as we will always remember this turning point in the regulated market. This growth has been significant. Now that the Brazilian market is consolidated, our goal is to take Weebet’s experience in Brazil to other countries in Latin America.
