“NGX presented an exclusive iframe at SBC in partnership with Sportradar to impact bettors”

NGX presented its exclusive iframe for sportsbooks at SBC Rio, in partnership with Sportradar, allowing integration with several sports betting platforms. Alexandre Tauszig, commercial director, revealed in an exclusive interview with GMB the company’s entry into Mexico and highlighted its expansion in Latin America. Regarding Brazil, he believes that the market is adapting and that regulation strengthens the sector by guaranteeing security to bettors.

GMB – What were NGX's highlights at SBC Rio?
Alexandre Tauszig - Once again, we are here at SBC, introducing NGX to the newly regulated Brazilian market and bringing a major innovation: our exclusive sportsbook iframe. Why is it exclusive, and what is the main advantage of this product? It is a partnership between NGX and Sportradar, the leading provider of odds and sports solutions in the market. With our iframe, customers can have an exclusive account with Sportradar while using our sportsbook, whether on NGX's proprietary platform or any other competing platform.

So, is this a solution for operators who want to offer more options to their end customers, the bettors?
Exactly, for their end customers. Often, an operator is dissatisfied with the sportsbook offered by their current platform but does not want to switch platforms. With our exclusive NGX + Sportradar iframe, they can use our solution on the platform of their choice.

Does this allow them to provide their end users with all the odds and services from Sportradar?
In addition to odds, Sportradar also offers services such as MTS (risk management), live match tracking, and many other market solutions. These services are accessible through our iframe while maintaining the operator’s branding and user experience as desired.

Is this what you presented at the event?
Yes! In addition to showcasing everything NGX has to offer, this was our major highlight. But we continue to provide our full platform. We even came up with a cool slogan for SBC: "From Campina Grande to the world." NGX is a 100% Brazilian company, born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, which we jokingly call the "Silicon Valley of the Northeast." It is a major technology hub and a center for professional training. Today, we are undergoing strong international expansion.

Speaking of international expansion, you are already operating outside Brazil and recently entered Mexico, right?
Now you've revealed a secret! But yes, it’s true. When we spoke a month ago in Barcelona, I mentioned that we had a new client but couldn't disclose the location. Now we can say it: we are in Mexico! We have a signed contract, the platform is under development, and most likely, when we meet again at BiS SiGMA Americas, this operation will already be live. Maybe we’ll even be able to reveal who the client is.

And could they consider applying for a license in Brazil?
Possibly. They have already mentioned international expansion, which could be here or in another Latin American country. They can count on us because, besides Mexico, we are also in the Dominican Republic, and we want to grow even more in the region.

Regarding Brazil, how do you assess these first two months of the regulated market?
I think the market is still in a period of adaptation and stabilization. My view is that it will take at least a semester or more to understand how everything will settle: how operators will establish themselves and how the regulations will be enforced. For now, we are going through a "witch hunt", meaning the removal of those who are not compliant or do not meet the regulations. But, in the end, this is a positive thing.

The good professionals and serious companies will remain in the market because they have invested to be here and are following the rules. This filtering process strengthens the industry.

Does the market as a whole need to work toward this goal?
This is good for Brazil, good for us as platform and service providers, good for operators, and, most importantly, good for bettors and the country, as it creates a safer environment.

Bettors need to feel safe and protected?
A regulated market protects bettors by ensuring they have someone to turn to if issues arise, that the systems are certified, and that there is no fraud. If they win a prize, they will get paid. This is the future we envision for Brazil.

Now that the market is regulated and companies are investing, what new plans does NGX have for Brazil?
Our ambition is to be one of the largest—if not the largest—platform provider for the Brazilian and Latin American markets. We want to showcase more of this at BiS SiGMA Americas, which is coming up soon.
