The president of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL), Plínio Lemos Jorge, was received on Monday afternoon (24) at the National Confederation of Services (CNS), in São Paulo.
He visited the entity at the invitation of the institution's president, Luigi Nese. The agenda included the regulated betting market and how this economic activity can be included in sector B, which is made up of companies with a business model focused on social and environmental benefits.
"It was a very important meeting, because the Confederation represents organizations that employ more than two million people. They are implementing the National Sports Committee, which will bring together personalities and initiatives that will help develop the country's sports scene," explained the president of ANJL.
“As we are a representative association, we have a lot to contribute to this discussion,” explained Plínio.
According to the president of ANJL, information was also provided on the occasion regarding the fight against illegal websites in the country and how legislation has advanced in this area.
“Whenever we have the opportunity, at these meetings, we explain how the association has been working and how the government has stepped up its efforts to block this illegal betting sector,” stated Plínio.
