The massive investments of sports betting houses and online casinos continue in full force in the 2025 Brazilian Championship, with all clubs being sponsored by the so-called ‘Bets’. Four of them occupy the most prime space in two clubs each and only Red Bull Bragantino and Mirassol do not feature a betting house as a master sponsor.
The companies with more than one master sponsorship are Alfa, which features the shirts of Grêmio and Internacional; Betfair, which is with Cruzeiro and Vasco; Esportes da Sorte, in the most prime space of Corinthians and Ceará; and Superbet, in São Paulo and Fluminense.
The dispute for spaces is not limited to the shirts, since the naming rights of the Brazilian Championship itself belong to Betano. In addition, LED boards, interview backdrops and field boards feature betting houses. Some even point out odds for the match in their on-field advertisements, which makes engagement even stronger.
