KTO and the growth of the Brazilian market
At the first post-regulation iGaming event in the sector, KTO used the space to share its strategic vision and discuss the opportunities and challenges of the segment. SBC Summit Rio, which had thousands of participants, provided the company with an essential platform for networking, market insights and exchange of experiences with other operators, regulators and industry experts.
During the event, KTO representatives participated in panels and debates focused on the future of the industry, addressing topics such as regulation, technology, payment methods and player behavior. Among the topics highlighted by the company were research as a tool for transparency and contact with players and the importance of new technologies, such as AI.
In addition, KTO was cited as an example of good advertising conduct in the panel “Responsible Advertising: Navigating the New Marketing Requirements”.
Recording of an exclusive podcast and partnership with AMIG to publicize research on women
KTO took advantage of the SBC Summit Rio to connect even more with the public and the industry by recording an exclusive podcast for Falabet, from Trio Pagamentos.
In the episode, KTO's research manager, Maria Paula Nascimento, shared information about the role of KTO research as a source of transparency and trust in the regulated scenario, discussing trends, challenges and KTO's strategies to offer an innovative and informed experience to players.
This content provided an updated perspective of the sector and highlighted KTO's role in the development of iGaming in the country.
In addition, one of KTO's most relevant initiatives during the event was the collaboration with AMIG - Women's Gaming Association - to release an in-depth study on the profile of female gamblers, as well as trends in betting on women's sports, with an emphasis on soccer.
The visual material was created exclusively for AMIG by KTO researchers and AMIG associates Priscila Ferreira, Simone do Vale and Maria Paula Nascimento, and seeks to highlight the importance of women in iGaming - who already represent 51% of gamblers. The full research will be released later.
Active participation in discussion panels
KTO's presence in the debates at the SBC Summit Rio 2025 was remarkable, with representatives on two discussion panels.
Sean Telford, KTO's Chief Operating Officer, spoke on the panel “Enhanced Security, Smarter AI” and discussed how operators are implementing advanced AI solutions in KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures and how accessible solutions are a way to balance fast identity verification and continuous user engagement.
Maria Paula Nascimento, KTO's Research Manager, participated in the panel “Mathematics of Gaming: The Secrets Behind the Design”, bringing perspectives on the value of research and how to translate data on behavior and preferences into accessible knowledge for the market - especially in regulated Brazil.
In this context, the challenges and opportunities of the regulatory scenario were the focus of the discussions held by KTO, with a focus on transparency and dissemination of knowledge.
Strong presence and perspectives for the future
KTO's participation in the SBC Summit Rio 2025 highlights its strategy of strengthening itself in the Brazilian market. With a lively presence at the event, the company demonstrated that it is aware of the changes in the sector and willing to actively contribute to the development of the betting market in the country.
Looking ahead, KTO will continue to invest in innovation, strategic partnerships and the enhancement of its platform, ensuring a differentiated experience for Brazilian players. With an increasingly defined regulatory landscape and an increasingly engaged audience, the company is positioning itself as one of the most promising players in the sector.
Participation in the SBC Summit Rio reinforces KTO's commitment to leading by example, offering a reliable, innovative service that is aligned with market expectations.
