"Quixant is focused on Brazil’s lottery sector and awaits the regulation of land-based gaming"

At recent SBC Summit Rio, Patricia Rial, VP of Business Development for Spain and LatAm at Quixant, assessed Brazil's potential in iGaming. With a complete solution, that follows on from the one launched in ICE Barcelona, the executive states that the country is 'about to open up a huge box of opportunities,' especially related to land-based gaming. With the regulation underway, Quixant is preparing to strengthen its presence and offer innovative solutions in the country.

GMB – How do you assess SBC Summit Rio 2025? The pavilion is very lively, with samba and music all day long!
Patricia Souto Rial – The pavilion is beautiful, the organization is fantastic, and the opportunities this fair brings us are incredible and unparalleled. We are on the first day, and the Quixant delegation already has very positive expectations.

What innovations did Quixant present at SBC Rio 2025, at the start of the regulated market in Brazil?
As we mentioned in our interview at the Barcelona Fair, Quixant has a strong commitment to the Brazilian market. This is a very important market for us. Although we don’t have a physical booth, our delegation is here, including directors and engineers, to meet the needs of our clients.

Our main innovation is to offer a complete solution, continuing what we launched at the Barcelona Fair. From the first contact with a client to the integration of our products, we work to ensure comprehensive and efficient support.

How is Quixant adapting to the new regulations in Brazil? What do you think about the start of the regulated operation?
This is a very important question. We are extremely pleased with the regulation of the online market, as it brings great opportunities and benefits. Now, we are looking forward to the regulation of the land-based market.

Quixant has been working actively for the past two years to ensure everything is aligned, from product development to customer support. We have also invested heavily in our Brazilian team to ensure our clients receive all the assistance they need and can focus on the game content and user experience.

What are the biggest opportunities Quixant sees in the Brazilian market?
Brazil is about to open a huge box of opportunities, especially in the land-based gaming segment. We hope that federal regulation advances so we can explore the full potential of this sector.

We have been preparing for this moment for years, with well-defined strategies in the commercial, operational, and product areas. We also place great importance on after-sales, ensuring that clients receive continuous support and have a smooth experience with our solutions.

How does Quixant envision the future of iGaming and sports betting in Brazil?
The future is very promising! Currently, we are focused on the lottery sector, which has great potential. Brazil has 27 states, and some, like Paraná and Paraíba, are already more advanced in regulation. These are markets where we are actively working.

Our goal is to offer a complete solution, addressing different aspects so clients can have confidence and peace of mind when implementing our products.

Will Quixant be present at BiS SiGMA, which takes place in April in São Paulo?
Definitely! A delegation from Quixant will be present at SiGMA. This event is part of our commitment to the Brazilian market. We will be there to further strengthen our relationship with clients and advance ongoing projects.
