Apostou reinforces its commitment to sports integrity in a lecture for Maringá FC

Apostou held a lecture on sports integrity and prevention of match-fixing given by Augusto Cesar Piaskoski, company’s Head of Legal and Compliance. The event was held at Maringá Futebol Clube and the initiative took place during the mandatory assessment by the Paraná Football Federation and Sportradar, expanding the debate on transparency and ethics in sports.

The action was promoted by Apostou as part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness among athletes about the risks of match-fixing and the importance of ethics in sports.

Maringá FC, which was already undergoing a mandatory assessment by the Paraná Football Federation and Sportradar on responsible gaming, took the opportunity to offer its players more in-depth content on the subject.

During the lecture, Piaskoski explained the main legal restrictions, the impacts of match-fixing and how athletes should proceed if they receive inappropriate approaches. The goal was not only to inform, but also to provide practical support so that players can make safe decisions throughout their careers.

Sporting integrity is a fundamental pillar for the future of football. We want to ensure that athletes have access to the information they need to protect themselves and maintain fair play,” Piaskoski highlighted.

With this initiative, Apostou continues to strengthen its commitment to integrity in sport, promoting actions that help build an increasingly safe and responsible scenario for everyone involved in football.
