GMB - How was BiS SiGMA Americas for Cometa Gaming?
Arthur Henrique - It was great for Cometa Gaming. This was our second BiS SiGMA and we could see how the industry has matured over the last year. Big brands are exhibiting and the Brazilian community is growing a lot. It's really cool to follow the evolution of the iGaming market in Brazil.
What new developments did Cometa bring to the event?
Cometa's goal was to take advantage of this moment with the regulated market. Many brands are feeling a bit of friction because of the regulations, which brings new demands. To ensure that everything flows well, this ends up impacting sales and the results of the platforms.
But what we have shown at BiS SiGMA is that this actually brings about a very positive change, as it ensures greater security for both bettors and operators. We know that these changes can be difficult, such as facial validation, but the number of frauds has decreased, which means more profit margins for operations and greater security for players.
That is our mission here: to share this mindset and understand how the changes are impacting both our customers and the market in general.

Is the partnership between operators, providers and payment companies important to consolidate the Brazilian market?
Of course. I believe that the union of all sectors, not only platforms and operators, but also payment providers, is essential. The exchange of information must continue because, with this, we can advance even further. The iGaming market in Brazil is already becoming a global reference.
You are operators, but you use technologies, such as artificial intelligence. How do these tools help Cometa Gaming in its work?
Artificial intelligence is a major differentiator for us. We are using it to categorize players and analyze all actions within the platform.
With this, we are able to identify risk behaviors and possible signs of fraud. The technology will grow a lot this year, especially here in Brazil, and will help maximize the platforms' profits by eliminating fraud.
This will speed up the anti-fraud process and contribute to more responsible gaming, right?
Definitely. Brazil has stood out in responsible gaming worldwide. This year, new initiatives have emerged to help control gambling addiction. The Brazilian community is growing a lot in this regard and this is very positive for the sector.

Could you give a brief overview of the first quarter for the company? What are the expectations for the year?
It was a surprising start to the year. At the beginning, we had some challenges, but expectations are exceeding our forecasts. Our plan is to consolidate our position in Brazil by the end of the year and, who knows, expand to Latin America.
So the plans are to continue growing...
