To achieve this achievement, EBAC created an effective protocol capable of acting directly with the necessary actions required by Ordinance No. 1,231/2024 - Responsible Gambling -, developed by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA0 of the Ministry of Finance.
The tasks include assisting in the reception of compulsive gamblers, which is mandatory, in addition to reviewing the Compliance of partner companies.
“An award is recognition, something we value greatly at this stage, at the beginning of our journey. This achievement in particular, which comes from the demonstration of support from market participants themselves, consolidates our takeoff and gives us the confidence to continue implementing our strategy, which is focused on promoting the gaming and betting market in a healthy condition, which is the main idea of responsible gaming,” says Ricardo Magri, CEO of EBAC and specialist in iGaming business development.
Cristiano Costa, clinical and organizational psychologist and chief knowledge officer (CKO) of the company also celebrated: “We are all very happy at EBAC with the award received because it truly reflects our history. More than a year ago, before the publication of the Responsible Gaming Ordinance, we had the entire scope of work prepared to put into practice this challenging project of welcoming and guiding gamblers with a risk profile.”

In addition to this achievement, the company was also nominated for two other awards: ‘Best Action to Combat Gambling Addiction’ and ‘Rising Star of the Year’.
