Global Poker League plans to create exclusive event for Brazil

According to the information released by ESPN Brazil, the Global Poker League is seriously analyzing the possibility of taking its innovative and successful format of poker tournament to Brazilian lands, after the important audience that had the tournament among the Brazilians during 2016 season.

Iin addition to GPL Brazil the company is preparing the second season of the GPL Major League, which last year had twelve teams (Berlin Bears, Hong Kong Stars, LA Sunset, Las Vegas Moneymakers, London Royals, Montreal Nationals, Moscow Wolverines, New York Rounders , Paris Aviators, Rome Emperors, San Francisco Rush and Sao Paulo Mets) and ended with the victory of the Canadians of the Montreal Nationals.

Also in the plans is an event called the GPL All-Star 2018, which should follow the "Star Game" format of other sports.
