Wind Creek buys two Caribbean casino resorts

Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH), an authority of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, has bought the Aruba Renaissance Resort & Casino and the Curacao Renaissance Resort & Casino. The resorts will continue to operate under the Renaissance brand and all team members are expected to remain in place. The resorts are situated in downtown Oranjestad, the capital city of Aruba, and adjacent to the port and downtown Willemstad, the capital city of Curacao.

Tribal Chair Stephanie Bryan of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, owners of Wind Creek Hospitality, said: "We are thrilled to add these incredible properties to our Wind Creek portfolio. We look forward to being part of the communities in Aruba and in Curacao. I know our guests will love being able to travel to two of the best Caribbean destinations as part of our Wind Creek Rewards program.”

Located minutes from Queen Beatrix Airport, the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino resort sits in the middle of downtown Orangestad, Aruba’s capital city, and overlooks the marina and cruise ship terminal. The resort offers two hotels with 431 rooms; numerous choices for dining; two shopping malls and two casinos.

The Renaissance Curacao Resort and Casino is set amidst the historic Dutch Caribbean city of Willemstad. It offers a variety of boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants, including the open-air boulevard of Renaissance Mall.
