The flights to Las Vegas will operate Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Returning flights to Sao Paulo will depart Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The first scheduled nonstop flight to Las Vegas from Brazil will take place next year, starting on June 21 and ending on August 30.
Clark County Aviation Director, Rosemary Vassiliadis, says Brazil has long been among the destination's "most sought-after markets."
Vassiliadis commented that McCarran recently increased capacity for international arrivals and is working to expand amenities, including duty-free retail and a first-class airport lounge.
More than 200 nonstop international flights arrive at the airport every week.
