WSOP Circuit: Brazilian Championship is the second largest in the world

The second edition of the Brasilian Circuit of the World Series of Poker will take place from September 27th to October 4th at Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo, and promises to repeat the success of 2016. Then, more than 12 thousand people were present at the WSOP Circuit Brazil, which distributed nearly R$ 10 million in prizes during the 26 tournaments that took place.

A total of 2,981 entrants took over the 150 tables to play in the tournament and dispute the 14 WSOP rings. The acceptance of the tournament in the country was so good that Brazil definitely entered the international route of the WSOP Circuit and the event now became part of the official calendar of the city of São Paulo.

Currently, more than eight million Brazilians play poker and each year the activity gains one million new players, putting Brazil in fifth place in the world in terms of number of players.

The WSOP Brazil 2017 promises even more. The expectation is that it exceeds the number of subscribers in relation to last year. More tournaments, more satellites, new structures and bigger prizes. The best techniques and the most incredible skills will be put to the table in search of R$ 1 million guaranteed to the champion of Main Event and also the Champions ring.

In addition to a millionaire prize, the Main Event winner will be awarded a US$ 10,000 buy-in, plus hosting in the United States, to compete for US$ 1 million plus the gold bracelet at the WSOP Global Championship.
