Strong second quarter for Quixant

Manufacturer of software and hardware for gaming machines Quixant reported its second quarter update for the first six months of 2017, with a 14 % revenue growth year on year. 'I am delighted with the group's strong performance in the first half of the year,” commented Jon Jayal, chief operating officer of Quixant.

According to the information released by the company, Quixant has reported elevated demand from key customers in the core gaming division in the first half of the year, which has boosted revenue in the period. 

"As a result, we currently anticipate that, unlike previous years, the company's full year results will be first half weighted,” said the firm.

A company spokesperson commented: "Trading in the first six months of the year has been stronger than previously anticipated and we expect to report revenue for the first half of approximately US$ 56 million, with both the core gaming division and Densitron performing well.”

The company's interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2017 are expected to be announced on 21 September 2017.

Jon Jayal, chief operating officer of Quixant, said: "I am delighted with the Group's strong performance in the first half of the year. As a result we are very confident of achieving market expectations for the full year."
