Fortuna Esports partners with Sportradar

Tournaments run by one of the leading esports organisers in Europe, Fortuna Esports, are set to be boosted by Sportradar’s world-leading audio-visual streaming, data and integrity solutions thanks to a new global partnership announced between the two organisations. As part of the multi-year deal, Sportradar will be the exclusive worldwide provider of betting audio-visual streams and transmissions for all matches played within Fortuna Esports competitions.

Additionally, Fortuna Esports tournaments will be covered by Sportradar’s award-winning Fraud Detection System, which will be monitoring global betting across all the matches.

Fortuna Esports are an internationally-renowned Balkan esports tournament organiser, with a current focus on popular esports games including CS:GO and League of Legends. The company recently announced the establishment of the Esports Balkan League, which is set to premiere today (September 11). The competition is the first professional esports league in the region and will feature some of the game’s best teams from eight Southeast European countries.

Fortuna Esports CEO, Mihajlo Jovanović Dzaril, said the partnership came at an opportune time in the lead up to the launch of the all-new Balkan League: "Sportradar are global leaders in their field and share our enthusiasm and passion for gaming. Their streaming, data and integrity services will offer crucial support in our efforts to promote the best professional players from our region whilst providing enthusiasts worldwide a truly enjoyable and credible esports experience.”

We are experiencing a real momentum in the market now, as tournament organisers are really engaging with our suite of services and realising how we can amplify their competitions in their region but also further afield. What Fortuna are driving is a real sea-change in the way esports is organised and promoted around the Balkans and we are really excited that we can do our bit to help and protect that growth.”
