The meetings take place in two stages, a plenary followed by individual conversations of up to 45 minutes with investors. The first part of the roadshow takes place from today and runs until September 29th in London, UK. Then the tour goes to Las Vegas, in the United States, on October 2 and 3. LOTEX Road show team was received by Ambassador Eduardo dos Santos in London. The secretary of Economic Monitoring, Mansueto Almeida, and a working team will represent the Ministry of Finance in the Lotex roadshow sale. Also participating are representatives of the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI) and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES). Seae is the governing body responsible for regulating and supervising the operation of lottery games in the country.

In UK, the meetings with investors will be led by the economic monitoring secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Mansueto de Almeida. After the English capital, the tour follows, next week, to the United States. Instead of New York, a traditional destination for investors "road shows", the stop will be in Las Vegas, the world capital of gambling, where traditional trade show G2E takes place.

"Brazil is a market with huge potential. We have around ten confirmed investors participating in the international road shows," Albuquerque said in a public hearing held in Rio do Janeiro.

According to the BNDES executive, the main global companies in the instant lotteries sector have been in contact with the government and have been studying the Brazilian market for quite some time. The expectation is that the interest comes from foreign investors, as there are no companies in the industry currently operating in the country and the technical qualification criteria foreseen for the bidding process are high.
