Babilino “will have overall responsibility for the Hard Rock hotel sales division, as it supports the expanding global portfolio of Hard Rock hotels and casinos,” the firm said in a last week press release.
In her new role, she will manage all hotel sales and marketing incentives, sales training, customer events, sales programme implementation, and the recruitment and retention of sales professionals. Babilino will report to Hard Rock International chief operating officer Jon Lucas.
“An aggressive, results-focused sales division is critical to the future success of the expanding Hard Rock brand, especially as we continue to add hotels and casinos throughout the United States and around the world,” Lucas said in comments included in the release. “We are confident Danielle Babilino will drive Hard Rock sales beyond our greatest goals,” he added.
Babilino is described as having nearly 20 years of experience in executive sales and business development. She most recently was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Alon Las Vegas. Australian casino operator Crown Resorts Ltd led the proposed casino hotel development for the Las Vegas Strip, in Nevada; but the firm eventually decided last year not to move ahead with the scheme.
