GMB - How have you seen the process of gaming legalization in Brazil? Do you think we'll have a law soon?
Eduardo Bercovich - I do not know the details of the legalization process in Brazil, and from experience in other countries, this depends on the Brazilian people. If this law thrives quickly, there will be enough investment, job creation, a flow of trade that will bring benefits to the country.
What are Atlantis plans for Brazil after the legalization of the activity and the opening of the market in the country?
Atlantis has always been a provider to casinos, bingos and hotels. If this business is to work in Brazil, Atlantis will be one of the main players.
Weeks ago, Atltantis participated in recente BGC 2018 in Brazil. Why did you choose to exhibit your products at the event?
To know a market that for us is almost a novelty. Because we have worked in Brazil for many years, we try to find people with more expertise, experience and knowledge. It seemed to us that this was an opportunity to achieve this.
And what is Atlantis's assessment of the event? Did the content of the lectures and the networking done during the conference days prove fruitful?
The event was excellent. Basically, that's what the market needed. They were the main players that intervened in the market all over the world; the space is adequate allowing a fluent dialogue with customers, there was not much noise and a lot of possibility to sit and talk to people.
Tell us a little bit about the current work of Atlantis and its plans for the near future?
We have incorporated a new line of production of boards in wool and nylon specially designed for casinos. They are carpet plates with one meter by one meter, with high resistance to washing, interchangeable and with the custom design that the client wishes. It is special for casinos and with the best technology. And for the future we will continue to work hard.
