GMB - Why did you decide to attend BgC as an exhibitor?
Hugo Cantero - I attended BgC this year because I was in Excel London in February and I saw how big the gaming market is worldwide, countless companies from different countries exposing their products and another thing that I noticed was the interest of all of them in the Brazilian market. So, for all this aspects, we decided tobe presente again and offer the gaming market all our national and international experience in this sector.
How do you evaluate the event from the organization to the content presented in the lectures? What repercussion did you have from your booth?
Our assessment of the BgC was the best possible, I had no idea that Clarion had all this structure, all the lectures were enlightening and helped to better understand all this universe of the gaming industry. We had numerous visits in our stand, where important companies of the industry are already looking for partners for manufacturing. We also had the opportunity to show our entire manufacturing structure and we are prepared to serve the market once it legalizes the sector.
And how do you see legalization process of gaming in Brazil? Do you believe that regulation will be defines soon?
After everything I've seen and heard at BGC, I believe that this year we will have news. I know that the sector will boost the Brazilian market, generating countless direct and indirect Jobs. The Brazilian government needs to see the industry as a sector that has enormous potential; it is time for our politicians to work for Brazil and not for their own interests.
What are Cam-tec's plans for the Brazilian gaming market after legalization?
As we have already said, our goals after legalization is to meet with professionalism and quality throughout this market. We have experience in Brazil, Mexico and USA. We are well prepared here in Brazil, we have a large industrial park available to the sector. We hope that this year we will have the legalization of the sector. With certainty our staff of officials should double if the sector is legalized.
Tell us a little about Cam-tec's trajectory of its products, services and next objectives?
Today, Cam-tec serves the supermarket sector with self-check-out, cabinets for shopping mall parking payments, bank-toting totems, and intelligent safes. We intend to return to the gaming sector, re-manufacturing cabinets, roulettes and all equipment in the industry. We want and we will be one of the biggest companies in the sector. We are already in contact with big international companies and we can say we are well prepared to serve the market.
