GMB - Explain what Criptohub is and what are its main projects in Brazil?
Ramon Vailati - Criptohub today is an exchange of cryptocurrencies for the Brazilian market that comes with differentials over the current extends. We promise to have more traders, we should start exchange with 20 currencies and we will have the lowest transaction rate in the market. We also offer an e-comerce plugin; which is for tenants to sell in bitcoin and receive in reais into their account without fear of volatility. We are launching a prepaid card so people can get their bitcoin, carry the card and use it on a daily basis, among other differences that we bring to the Brazilian market.
And how do you evaluate the current discussions on the use of cryptocurrencies? At a recent public hearing in the House the question was raised that this is an activity that can not be controlled. Do you agree with this idea?
We had good legal support for our project, we are 100% legally approved under Brazilian law and we do not think that it has seen anything that could impede the advancement of this new and good technology. If it comes, we'll adapt and find a plan B to be able to operate normally.
What is your opinion about the option of some gaming operators that offer the possibility of payment of prizes in cryptocurrencies?
I think it is a benefit for the users, as they have the right to use their money in any way they think is best. So, I think it's an evolution, it's a benefit and it's something difficult hard to stop.
Have you been following the process of gaming legalization in Brazil? Do you have projects to work with online gaming or other modalities when the market opens?
Yes. It would be beneficial for us. We are following this market, but, it is not preponderant for the exchange success.
What are the future objectives of Criptohub as an exchange of cryptocurrencies in the short term?
We want to have a fast growth in our user base, in six months we want to beat the 500 thousand mark and in a year we reach 1.5 million. After this, we will think of an internationalization of the company for Latin American countries and also or other continents.
